Welcome to the Girls In Tech Program by Caasitech
Join the Girls In Tech (GIT) program, initiated by Caasitech in 2020 to foster female participation in STEM, specifically in the tech sectors accross Cameroon and Africa. Our mission aligns with the United Nations' gender equality goals, focusing on enhancing the tech landscape by increasing female involvement.

Launched in 2020, GIT is gearing up for its fourth cohort, which begins in August 2024.
Targeted Learning
We welcome young women aged 15-25, from high school (Form 5) to postgraduate studies, ready to dive deep into the tech world.

With a workforce that is 65% female, Caasitech's success in the tech industry is largely due to the GIT program.

Curriculum and Activities

Core Skills Development
Learn the basics of hardware, software, networking and typing.
Discover the essentials of UX and graphic design, including weekly challenges using CANVA, WORDPRESS, FIGMA, ADOBE SUITE.
Grasp a detailed understanding on latest technologies used in Coding, Cloud, Machine Learning and AI.
An explanatory pathway to have a career in IT using our proprietary MWF matching algorithm.
Analytics & Impact
Successfully launched cohorts in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Trained a total of 124 girls.
Achieved a 37% program retention rate, with 100% employment in tech roles among retained participants.
Many alumni pursue further STEM education or careers, demonstrating the lasting impact of the program.
